A Very Merry Christmas

We had a great Christmas with way too much food and presents. Taysen had a lot more fun this year getting into presents and playing with his cousins. We feel so blessed to have such a wonderful family.

Future Fisherman

Taysen got the cutest fishing vest and hat for Christmas. I'll have to get a better picture up soon because these don't do it justice. It is exactly like an adult vest he is ready to go fishing Gramps!

John Deere

Cousin Eastyn got a John Deere tractor for Christmas. I have to say it was one of Taysen's favorite toys haha. Luckily his cousin is small enough that he lets Taysen ride it for now.

New Trike

Taysen got his first trike from Santa this year. He loves being pushed around on it and hopefully in not to long he will learn how to pedal himself around. He also loves the tassles that hang from the handlebars.

Little Helper

Here are some pictures of Taysen helping his Great Grandma out with the swiffer vac. We didn't turn his on so he just made the noises himself.

Decorating the Tree

We decided we'd help out decorating this year and so while Tamara was gone we tried to start decorating the tree. Unfortunately we couldn't find the lights so we had to wait til she got home anyway, but it was a lot of fun to all help out with the decorating. Taysen really enjoyed trying to put ornaments on the tree and he sure was a help on the ladder when Amy was putting up the lights. We tried to get Taysen to say Ho Ho Ho to all the Santa's on the tree but his version was similar to what he says for a dog.

Dirty Chef

Here are some pictures of Taysen over the Christmas Break at the Hawkins house. He has a love of cooking if you can't tell and one night while Tamara and I were busy working on a Young Womens project Taysen somehow slipped off our radar (right behind me) and started cooking with the plant dirt. Needless to say he had a great time, but we couldn't figure out how he had gotten so much without us even noticing!

Happy Holidays

We want to wish everyone a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year! Hopefully we'll be able to keep you posted a little better as the new year comes. I promise to get some pictures up of Taysen soon. We want all our friends and family to know how much we care about you. I recently read a book called Christmas Jars it was a good one and really got you in the spirit of giving this holiday season. I hope we can all be grateful for what we have and help those who need it. Happy Holidays!
