Ok I know I am a serious blog slacker, but I have my excuses. :) First of all we started building a house last fall and that got a little busy. Our house got finished up in January and we are SO excited to be living in it. I promise I will post pictures sometime soon... Now we are trying to get our yard put in and finish up a few little projects we need to. Korver had a birthday in January and turned 2. He is a fun crazy kid. Taysen is going to be 5 this summer and he is growing up so much its crazy. And tomorrow is our sixth anniversary! I can't believe I have been married to my hubby for that long, the time sure has flown by. I love you Tim! In six years we have moved 10 times, had 2 kids, had 2 houses, and finished up degrees. Life is Good!!

Soccer

I am now a soccer mom...well kind of. Taysen has had a blast playing AYSO soccer this spring. He has one more game left and I think we are ready for a break. He hates getting all dressed up to go, but once we get there he is all about making goals. He is good at getting in there and going after the ball. I just can't believe how big my little boy is getting!!

Easter

First of all we once again planted our magic Jelly Beans and the Easter Bunny somehow made them grow into lollipops. We had a fun Easter, the boys went to the egg hunt at the dinosaur museum (which they love) and since grandpa and grandma were helping they went through multiple times. That afternoon we also went to an egg hunt at the soccer fields for AYSO and Taysen got right in there and had a blast! They boys loved all the surprises in their baskets and then had an egg hunt at grandma and grandpa Judd's house.

Cruisin

I was able to spend a week with two of my sisters and my mom on a cruise. We went to Jamaica, Grand Cayman, and Cozumel. It was an awesome trip with lots of naps, reading, goofing off, and no children... I don't have many of the pictures but I'll post a few. In Jamaica my sister Amy and I went on a zipline tour. As frightening as it was I'm glad to say I did it. It was amazinig flying through the air like that. Grand Cayman was beautiful and a nice place to relax on the beach. Cozumel we spent shopping like crazy and eating real mexican food. Other than the weight gain I am ready to go on a cruise again anytime!! Thanks girls for an awesome trip! And thanks to my in-laws and my hubby for taking care of the kiddos so I could go!

Rodeo Cowboys

We took the boys to the rodeo Saturday night. Taysen was excited all day and couldn't wait to go. Each night of the rodeo before that he kept asking to go because you could hear it at our house. Grams got the boys some great cowboy attire including cowboy boots. They looked SO cute! Korver was sick the day of the rodeo so he only went for a while but Taysen stayed the whole time and his favorite part was the mutten bustin. He and Eastyn were ready to get out and ride one right then. Then of course during my favorite part the bull riding Taysen had to go to the bathroom and the boys spotted the glow in the dark swords.

Rocket

My dad got this HUGE water rocket for Christmas last year and since then the kids have been begging him to launch it. Well since all the kiddos were in town we decided it was time. It took a little trial and error and a lot of pumping to get it launched but it was AWESOME!! The kids loved it!

First of all I have to show a picture of the cake I made for Eastyn's birthday. It is on the fourth of July and he had a great party. It was a lot of fun making his robot cake I love trying something new.
The other pictures are from Tim's birthday on June 10th. I made him a pool ball cake and once again it was fun to try something new. I am so grateful for Tim and all he does for us.

EASTER

On Easter I had the grand idea to wake up early and get ready before the boys got up so as soon as I was out of the shower Korver woke up. We took him downstairs to do his basket and make breakfast. He loved all the treats and started finding the hidden eggs. He soon learned he could throw them against the wall and candy would come out (he loves jelly beans) Soon Taysen woke up and came downstairs carrying eggs and being excited the easter bunny came. He had a great time seeing what the bunny brought him and Korver. He really loved finding all the hidden eggs. Kids really do make holidays a lot funner! After doing easter we went up to the cabin to be with Tim's family for lunch and afternoon conference.

This year we thought it would be fun to plant some magic Jelly Beans. We planted them the night before easter and then the easter bunny helped them grow into lollipops! Taysen loved it!

We invited grandpa Judd over for dinner and dyed easter eggs on Friday night. It was a lot of fun. We bought the monster decorating kit so it made for some silly eggs. Korver thought it made a nice ball to throw :)

We finally got around to Korver's first haircut March 15. His hair was getting pretty long and I wasn't sure if he would like the Flowbee because he usually screams when I turn it on to do Taysen's, but Dad played ball with him and gave him treats and he was a champ he didn't care at all that I was cutting his hair...I know your all thinking I'm a nerd for using a Flowbee but I must say it is one of the best purchases I have made because Taysen (and now Korver) will actually let me cut their hair without a fight and it isn't messy at all. :)

Ice Skating

I am trying to catch up a little so here it goes..Taysen and I went ice skating with our ward in February. Taysen was so excited to go. It was a lot of fun to go with him other than we both had on too big of skates and I haven't been in forever so it was a little exciting to try to hold up a kiddo and myself. He also enjoyed the hot chocolate at the end and made sure to take his time drinking it. I love that I can do fun things with my little boy!

My Grandmother

My grandmother suffered from Alzheimer's for a long time and a few weeks ago we were told her time was coming to an end. We drove out that day to say goodbye to her and be with my grandpa. She passed away later that night. It has been a whirlwind of emotions. My grandmother was a great lady and we miss her greatly. We are so happy for her to be out of the terrible grips of this disease. Her funeral was a wonderful time to remember the way our grandmother was. It's still a little hard when I think about it. I'm so grateful to know that FAMILIES ARE FOREVER!! One day I will hear her sweet laugh again! Love you forever Grandma Judd!

Leila Lundquist Judd

1929 ~ 2010

Our loving wife, mother, grandmother, and sister, Leila Lundquist Judd, passed away peacefully on Feb. 22, 2010, after a long and courageous battle with Alzheimer's disease. She was surrounded by her family. Leila was born July 7, 1929, in Price, Utah, to Roland and Mary Brockbank Lundquist. She graduated from Kanab High School and attended Utah State Agricultural College where she earned a degree in secondary education. She married her sweetheart, Derrel W. Judd, on June 9, 1953, in the Logan LDS Temple. Leila and Derrel lived in Morgan for 19 years and have lived in Provo for the last 33 years.

Leila taught at Weber High School and worked at the Genealogical Library in Salt Lake City prior to becoming a wife and mother. Leila was an active member of the LDS church and served in leadership positions in the Primary, Relief Society, and Family History organizations. She served many years as an election judge. She was very active in 4-H as a leader and member and earned many awards through her 4-H work. She and her mother made hundreds of beautiful quilts. While pursuing one of her passions, family history, she and Derrel served as directors of the Edgemont Stake Family History Center for 17 years. Leila also helped train family history missionaries at the MTC.

Leila is survived by her husband, Derrel, and their children: Dennis (Carol) Judd, Marjalee (Rodger) Smith, Ralph (Patricia) Judd, Anne Judd, Keith (Chris) Judd, Mary (Jeff) Hill, 21 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren, as well as her brothers, Robert (Kathy) Lundquist and Kent (Karen) Lundquist, also many beloved nieces & nephews.

She will be remembered for her love and devotion to her family, her fun sense of humor, and her service to others.

Funeral services will be held at 1 pm Sat., Feb. 27, 2010, at the Edgemont 6th Ward Chapel, 4065 N. Timpview Dr., Provo, Utah. Family and friends may call Friday evening from 6:30-8:30 pm at the Walker Sanderson Funeral Home, 646 E. 800 N., Orem and Sat. from 11:30-12:45 pm prior to the services at the church. Interment will be held at the Orem City Cemetery.

Snow Fun

Snuggie

Around Christmas on TV they were pushing the whole Snuggie thing like crazy!! And since my son watches TV like crazy he decided that he needed one of his own. I thought about just buying him one of the kid ones but I didn't know if it would even fit him and they seemed simple enough to make...so a little while after Christmas when he wouldn't stop bugging me about it we finally got his snuggie made. He was pretty proud of it and now wants me to make one for EVERYONE! The thing is now he hardly ever uses it..oh well!

Korver's 1st Birthday!

My baby turned ONE! I still can't quite believe it. The last year has flown by and he has been such a fun addition to our family. We celebrated with family and had pizza and cake. We discovered he absolutely loves pizza! He did not care about his presents because he still wanted to eat his pizza. When it was time for cake he barely touched it to take a candy off the top and remove the marshmallows and then he didn't want anything to do with it. I tried to help he and he got mad, but he did want to eat it as long as I fed it to him with a fork. At least he ate enough to get his lips blue with frosting! We love our crazy Mo!

As you can tell from the picture Korver did not like santa, but Taysen thought it was great and asked him only for a present and the diego artic rescue movie (pretty easy on santa) Right after Christmas we moved hence the late blogging since we haven't had internet for a while now.

We had a fun filled weekend at the cabin a week ago. We had delicious food, fun games, movies, treats, and just time to spend with each other. The kids of course loved being outside. Thanks everyone for such a fun time!

After a long day of working on our house Tim decided to run through the sprinklers with Taysen. Unfortunately they picked the wrong time of day so it was really cold and didn't last too long. It was fun watching them and when they were done they got warmed up in the shower and Taysen insisted that he had to keep him swimming suit on. When the shower was done I pretty much had to pry it off of him because he was ready to go run through the sprinklers again...He's such a nut!

We're still here just really bad at posting on the blog. Lately we just been pushing hard to try to get our house finished up with all the updating. So close yet so far away! We also celebrated Taysen's 3rd birthday. I can't believe my little boy is already 3 the time sure has flown by. We had a fun birthday party for him with friends and then one with family. I'll try to get pictures up soon. Korver is getting bigger and bigger and getting all over the place..we are in the process of moving him into his crib which is probably a little overdue...Thats what we're up to and we'll try to get pictures sometime soon...

Summer Fun

We have been preparing my parents yard for my sisters open house (which turned out great) and since we were spending so much time outside and Taysen seemed to end up soaked from head to foot everyday I decided it was time to get him a new pool so he actually had a reason to be soaking wet. He absolutely loves the water and had a blast. I had to pry him out of his wet swim suit to finally get him changed, he would have stayed swimming all night.

A while ago I finally got my new double stroller so that I could take both the kids on walks...We LOVE it!!! It can be a jogging stroller or it can go on the bike to pull the kids...Korver is still a little small to be in it, but we just have to prop him up for the ride. These pictures are from one of our first walks as a family. We got back just at dark and Korver was asleep. Both the boys looked so cute I had to take a picture.

I was very excited to finally get Rock Band 2 the other day and Taysen was pretty excited himself. He got so excited as each instrument came out. I told him we could play after I finished getting ready. Well he decided that he would start early I peeked out from getting ready to see him with taking on every instrument I didn't get him with the microphone, but he did have it as well. Now he thinks he can play them all everytime, so we're not playing this one much while he is awake.

As most of you know we have been fixing up an old house. On Tim's last day off he successfully wired a new vanity light with a switch (last one had a pull cord) and put in a new medicine cabinet in the bathroom. He has gotten pretty handy and I'm very proud of him. Well after completing those tasks he decided to work on putting in a new threshold for the front door. This project has become a very frustrating one. But this time he had Taysen to help him thank goodness! Here is the conversation once things got frustrating yet again...
Taysen: Are you having a hard time dad?
Tim: Yes
Taysen: Well maybe I can just fix it myself I have a really nice drill.
A little later as things wrapped up....
Taysen: Thanks Dad for helping me fix things maybe you can help me fix again tomorrow.
I couldn't stop laughing when Tim told me this. The things he comes up with are hilarious. I hope I wrote it all the right way he said it, if not I'll change it later. He definately keeps us on our toes.

Just a little update

We went to the doctor yesturday for Korver's 2 month appointment and he weighs 13 pounds 6 ounces and is now 23 inches. He is growing up so fast it is crazy. Also I have to share a funny story about Taysen he always says the funniest things and I always forget to write them down. The other night Tim had to go in and sleep with him for a while and he was extra wiggly and kept waking up. Finally around 4:30 in the morning Tim woke up and Taysen wasn't in bed with him anymore. So he left the room and saw the living room light was on. He went in to find Taysen sitting on the sofa just hanging out. When he walked in the room Taysen just said, "Its a beautiful day outside Dad" AT 4:30 IN THE MORNING!!! He is a nut. Well now we are off to a good old 3 year old birthday party and Taysen is quite excited to give Joseph his gift he keeps asking me if it is time to go yet.

Hurt Nose

A few weekends ago we were able to go to St. George for a friends wedding. We were able to leave Taysen with my parents and he had lots of fun. He went rock hunting and was "so excited" to make it to the top of the mountain climbing. Anyway just minutes before we arrived home to pick him up he apparently fell outside and skinned his nose. He looked pretty silly but it healed a lot faster than I would have thought. I have done a lot of new posts so don't expect much for a while again haha I do my best.

Big Boy Bed

We tried to keep Taysen in his crib as long as we could so that he couldn't get out of bed, but he decided one day during nap time to figure out how to climb out of bed. It scared me cuz I was doing laundry and all the sudden heard a thud and heard him banging on his door. Anyway it was time to move to the big boy bed so he didn't get hurt climbing out. We haven't decided on a bedspread and bedroom set quite yet, but soon. He has done pretty well with sleeping in it. A few times he has gotten scared in the night and Tim has had to go sleep with him. It is crazy to have my little boy getting so big!

Korvers Blessing Day

We blessed Korver on March 1. Thanks to all those who were able to come and share in this special event with us. We missed the rest of you. It was a wonderful day and Tim gave him a great blessing. I'm so grateful for my handsome boys! Korver is growing fast just like his big brother did. At his appointment a week and a half ago he was 10.2 pounds and 22 inches.

We are excited to announce that our baby boy was finally born. He came to us on January 28 at 11:55p.m. He weighed 8 pounds 8 ounces. He is a great baby and we are all loving having him with us. We named him Korver Dade Hawkins. We are planning on blessing him the first sunday in March for any that can come.

I'm really bad at blogging lately but I thought I would give a quick update. We are still busy working on our house and after a few sinks get hooked up we are pretty much ready to move the rest of our stuff in. Hopefully this will be soon. We are anxiously awaiting the arrival of our little boy. I had an appointment yesterday and am dilated to a 2 and around 70% effaced also my doctor tried some things to see if we could get things going so still hoping on that one I have started having more regular contractions which since last night have been about 7 minutes apart. Hopefully it will happen soon. If not it sounds like they will start me next week, guess my babies just like to be difficult about coming out. Anyway we'll keep you updated and hopefully our next post can be pictures of our new addition.

Santa

Tonight was our ward party which was a lot of fun. Except being too big to get down the skinny rows and Taysen running away on me down the skinny rows so I couldn't catch him. Taysen was very excited to see Santa Claus and said he was going to tell him he wanted a big hammer, a drill, and a present. The line was long and we were second to last, but we finally made it up there and he was so excited to sit on his lap. I thought santa could have weighed a little more, but other than that it was great haha. We also spent earlier in the day helping Papa make his famous chocolates which was a lot of fun. So I will get Florida up but for now I will try to keep you up on our fun holiday happenings right now. Enjoy!

We are still alive! I know I am slow at blogging lately, but I have good reason the day of my birthday our computer got a nasty virus and has been out of commission. So with the help of John we are finally up and running again. Since our last post we did have Taysen be an elephant for Halloween and he had a lot of fun trick or treating. I will post pictures soon I promise. Then we headed off to Florida for a little family vacation and once again pictures are coming soon. We had a great time in the warm weather and now we are back to school and work and trying to finish up the house. Taysen is finally walking normal again and the baby seems to be doing great.

Taysen's Leg

Okay so last Tuesday while I was getting ready Taysen was taking a bath. And like he always does when he decides he is done he just hops right out. He got out and stepped onto the rug and then onto the floor and I told him to get back on the rug while I stood up to grab his towel. Well he actually listened to me and went to step back onto the rug but slipped to the side and started crying more than he ever does. So after finally getting him calmed down a little and getting some clothes on him he would scream everytime I touched his leg. So I tried to stand him up on it and he would just bawl and say his leg hurt. I was a little worried what he had done but I didn't want to be one of those crazy moms that takes their kid to the doctor everytime they get a scratch so I decided to wait a little bit and see if it got any better. After about an hour he still wouldn't put any weight on it and so I called Tim to come home and see what he thought. We decided to wait a little longer and if nothing changed then we'd take him into the Urgent Care. Well nothing changed so it was off to the doctor. At first it seemed like it might be in his knee but they decided to do some x-rays to see if anything was broken. Nope! Couldn't see anything so they said if he didn't start walking within a day or two to take him to a Orthopedic Surgeon. By Thursday nothing was changing and so we made an appointment. The doctor looked at it and this time it seemed to be his lower leg that was causing the pain. He decided it was best to cast it and that should help whether it is a break or a sprain. We go back on Thursday for more x=rays and fun to see how he is doing, but don't worry he isn't letting it get him down it only slowed him down for a few hours and then he figured out how to get everything he normally does. He has now even figured out how to do a gimpy little walk with it on and calls it his red bandaid. Crazy Times!

Conference Weekend

We had a great conference weekend at Papa's cabin. Tim's family was all able to come and the kids enjoyed running all over and playing pool. Last Christmas the kids all got fishing outfits and so we decided to get a picture of them all together in them. They didn't all want to hold still but some of them turned out pretty well. Silly Two Year Old

Just a little update since I have been slacking. I promise to put up pictures of Taysen and his cast soon I did finally get them taken I just have to get them on the computer..For those of you who don't know the story yet I'll tell ya when I post the pictures. Taysen is a little grumpier than normal with his leg but he is still just a happy crazy boy..but since hurting his leg he is waking up at the crack of dawn which isn't going over so well with Tim and I. More the reason for the post is I have to share a funny thing that happened last night while at my parents house. Taysen is really into singing songs and so to help cheer him up while changing a diaper that he apparently wanted to keep on we decided to try to get him to sing us a song. We chose Jesus wants me for a sunbeam since its been a while since we've heard that one. So as he took over singing the song he changed the words a little he sang, "Jesus wants some beans and a hot dog" haha we all cracked up laughing so he kept repeating the hot dog part. He is such a goof!

Halloween Costume

Okay I cannot decide what to have Taysen be for Halloween and I keep seeing all these cute costumes all around so it must be time to start figuring this one out. I've had a few ideas so I'm making a poll from them, but also I would love if you have a cute idea to post and let me know. Something fun and creative would be nice, So far in his two years of trick or treating he has been a cow and a monkey...Thanks for your help!

Today was the big day! We went in for the ultrasound this morning and came home with a lot more pictures then I expected. It was fun to see the baby and watch kick and move its mouth so much. It really is a crazy experience. We also got to find out what our little bundle is and we are excited to say we are having another boy! I really didn't know what to expect this time since last time I was so sure that I would have a girl. I went in hoping a little for a girl, what can I say those pink things are so darn cute, but we are excited for Taysen to have a brother. Tim is very excited he has been hoping it would be a boy so Taysen would have a sports friend. I must say though I told Taysen he was getting a little brother and he got really mad and said NO BABY SISTER!! haha it was cute he has been very sure that it was a baby sister and a girl but I didn't think he really picked up on all of it. Guess he understands more than we think! All in all the baby looks healthy and weighs about 8 ounces!

We had a great time with family and friends minus the cold weather. Taysen loved all of his presents and all the attention. Don't worry he really hasn't gotten facial hair at 2 he just likes to eat his cooking creations which happened to be dirt that night. Thanks to everyone who came it was fun and I didn't even blow up the root beer this year Yeah!!

As I have stated before Taysen is in love with cooking! He can't get enough of it he does it everyday without fail. So I couldn't think of a more appropriate cake than a pot. The cakes never turn out quite as I plan but its always fun to give it a shot. His favorite part was trying to pick all the candy stew out of the middle. The candles were a little tricky with the nice weather we enjoyed. I must say I should look at a weather report before I plan an outside party. oh well better luck next time.

Here Come The Terrible Two's

The terrible two's have begun!I'm not sure if it's that or not but I'm pretty sure he's been more difficult lately. I still can't believe that my baby is now 2 years old. The time has flown by. I am amazed though by how much he has grown even in the last few weeks. He is saying tons more and its nice to be able to have him communicate a little better instead of just screaming. We had his party the day after his birthday but we thought it would be nice just to do something little on his real birthday so we let him open a few presents and practice blowing out candles on a cupcake to help get him ready for his real cake. I must say he ate it up everytime anyone said happy birthday or when we sang he loved it! He is still going around the house singing happy birthday and pretending to blow out the candles. Okay so it has been a crazy summer and so I apologize for how slow I am at posting new things. We have finally been to the doctor and so far looks like everything is going great. Other than having to go get my bloodwork done this week since I hate needles. But we are excited to have our ultrasound in just two weeks! We can't wait to find out what we are having and have this all seem a little more real. I have started to feel the baby move but haven't really started to show much so it still seems a little crazy. I started showing a lot sooner with Taysen but maybe that had something to do with all the oreos I was eating haha! Anyway it is all going great and Taysen turned the big 2! I'll try to get pictures posted soon.

Happy Birthday Eastyn! Taysens cousin Eastyn was born on the 4th of July so we had a great time partying with them. Taysen loved opening Eastyns presents and he definately loved the fireworks. I made the cake for the party if you can't tell it is three fireworks together and we put sparklers in the top it was fun. Thanks Amy for a great party!

After the parade it was back home to hang out for the day. The kids were going crazy running around being goofy so I finally decided it was time to get out the pool. Taysen had a great time stirring dirt into the pool and making a big mess. Abi wanted to make sure I got a good picture of her splash. They both had fun running and playing in the pool and it was the perfect HOT day for it. One picture probably looks a little goofy but thats just my crazy he decided that the side of the pool made a great horse and so he went around and around riding it.

4th of July Parade

We started off the 4th of July with the good ole parade. I must say I liked the parades when I was little and they still threw you candy a lot better. Taysen did end up with one sucker though and I guess thats probably all he needed. We took Abi to the parade with us and met my family there. Taysen loved the jets and horses.

Four Wheelin

Taysen is in love with four wheeling. Every chance he can get he makes someone take him for a ride. We decided that maybe we should get him a power wheel and ended up going with the little four wheeler for now. Tim decided that was what he wanted for Fathers day so that he could play with Taysen with it. I must say he caught on to steering and everything very fast. Its the cutest thing to watch him ride around like he is all that. Maybe someday if I learn how I'll have to put a video of him on it. For graduation Tim got a nice new camera. We have both not learned yet quite how to use it to its full capabilities, but Tim has had fun taking some pictures to test it out. I can definately tell how much clearer the pictures are then the ones from his phone haha. Tim turned the big 25 and we're excited that when we go on a trip someday we won't have to pay as much to rent a car now YEAH!! We had a good time eating chinese and celebrating with family. He was so cute helping her to mix them up and when he was done it was all he could do to resist dipping his head in the bowl to take a bite. Taysen loves having his picture taken. The other day he found our camera and insisted that I take his picture and not just one either he needed multiples I had to hide the camera in order to stop. I can't believe how big he is getting he is jabbering all the time I was shocked when we were driving down the road the other day and he said Mom more pretzels please..and after giving him one he said Thanks! We have thoroughly enjoyed the nice weather up until the last few days. Last Saturday I decided it was time to get out the pool (only I couldn't find it) so it was time to go buy a new pool. I was watching Eastyn so we headed over to Grandma Judd's and watched everyone do yard work while the boys took a dip in the pool. Taysen loved every minute of it even though the water was freezing I had a hard time getting him to leave. Eastyn on the other hand wasn't so sure of that ice cold water, but he did have fun doing a little splashing.

Graduation Time!!!

Tim officially graduated May 3rd with his bachelors and all kinds of honors. Needless to say we are very excited and proud of him. Now we are back to Vernal living with Tim's family until we find a home of our very own. We are very anxious to get settled and excited for the future. It's definately weird thinking that we are moved back to Vernal possibly for the rest of our lives. CRAZY!! P.S. Thanks to everyone who helped with the big move, I can say that moving is one of my least favorite things and this move confirmed that we need to find a home that we can stay in for a long time.

I know I know your probably all wondering what has gotten into me with all these new posts, but really I just actually have some pictures and the internet both at the same time. So I may have gone a little crazy but I'm sure it will be a while before I get some more done haha hopefully not. I just had to make one last post to show my little chefs new favorite thing to do to try to help me in the kitchen. Other than the fact that it is dangerous it is kind of cute. Also there is a picture of him wearing Tim's shoes, he is actually getting quite good at walking around in the big ole things. And don't worry he did have shorts on before he is just into taking his shorts off when he is going potty. Anywho we are doing great and having a lot of fun watching our little Taysen turn in to such a smart big boy. His favorite snack now is popcorn and everyday at least once we have to make pop pop and he definately has to have his own big bowl for eating and cooking purposes. It makes lots of great messes to vaccum up but thats okay it gets me to do it.

Easter Dinner

So Taysen had an eventful Easter, after going to church for sacrament in Vernal we headed off for Judd family dinner in Provo. It was lots of fun to get to see everyone, including Andrew's fiance since the last time we saw him he has gotten engaged, but we are very excited to have Tara become a part of our family. Anyway at Grandma and Grandpa Judds house we had yet another easter hunt. Taysen had fun picking up all the candy and oranges.

Much to our surprise on Easter morning Taysen slept in until 10:30. So he missed the first easter egg hunt of the day with Abi finding the real eggs. But after he finally woke up we set up a easter egg hunt in the house with plastic eggs just for him. Abi had a lot of fun helping us hide them. It was fun watching him hunt for the eggs he had a great time, and didn't like when all the eggs wouldn't fit in his one basket. There is also a picture of his easter stuff. I have to say he is still a little chef the first thing he wanted to play with was the rolling pin he got. He could have cared less about anything else. Guess thats good to note in the future just get one cheap cooking item and we're good to go haha. I was very excited about all his fun new books and outfits though, thanks Grams and Gramps.

I know this picture didn't turn out the best, but I had to post it because it was so cute. We had our Easter dinner on Saturday night with Tim's family so that we would all be able to be there since we were all leaving Sunday. After a delicious dinner we had strawberry shortcake to top it off. I mixed the whipped cream for it and Taysen loved watching so when I was done I gave him one of the beaters to eat. Then came my ditsy side and let him out of my sight with a beater covered in whipped cream. When I realized that Taysen was being awefully quite I found him sitting next to his cousin Eastyn. More surprising is they were just sitting there both quiet. Soon I discovered that Taysen had decided to share the beater with little Eastyn and they were both happy as clams. Eastyn didn't want to give up the beater, and they both had whipped cream from head to toe, but I must say it was cute to see them being little buddies like I know they will be as they get older.

Dying Easter Eggs

We thought it would be fun to dye easter eggs with Taysen. Didn't think until we started how much of a challenge that could be with a 19 month old haha. He did pretty well at staying out of trouble surprisingly. I helped him dye them and we discovered that the easiest way for him to help was for him to color on the eggs with a clear crayon before we dyed them. He had lots of fun and so did I haha. In Tim's family they actually hunt the real eggs they have dyed which was new to me we always hunted plastic filled with candy. But it was fun to try a new way.

Dippy Dino Egg Hunt

We had a great Easter in Vernal. On Saturday morning we decided Taysen might have fun doing some egg hunts so we started with one at the Utah Field House. It was cute the kids went out in groups throughout the museum they had eggs all over the place. They searched for empty plastic eggs and then got to turn them in for prizes at the end. Taysen found 22 eggs in all and got 5 prizes (the max) It was lots of fun watching him. He was so excited to find all these bright colored balls everywhere haha. The only downfall was having to wake Taysen up early to get to all the festivities, but he did pretty well and it made for some fun memories. It would definately be a fun hunt to do with all his cousins next year(hint, hint)

Decorating the Tree

We decided we'd help out decorating this year and so while Tamara was gone we tried to start decorating the tree. Unfortunately we couldn't find the lights so we had to wait til she got home anyway, but it was a lot of fun to all help out with the decorating. Taysen really enjoyed trying to put ornaments on the tree and he sure was a help on the ladder when Amy was putting up the lights. We tried to get Taysen to say Ho Ho Ho to all the Santa's on the tree but his version was similar to what he says for a dog.

Dirty Chef

He has a love of cooking if you can't tell and one night while Tamara and I were busy working on a Young Womens project Taysen somehow slipped off our radar (right behind me) and started cooking with the plant dirt. Crazy Days

Once again it seems we are falling behind on this little blog of ours. I promise to get up our halloween pictures as soon as I can scrounge them up. We have had an eventful past month. Taysen and I went to Vernal to visit while Tim went on a golf trip and what was supposed to be a weekend turned into a month long visit. I ended up finishing up my real estate license and getting Kidney stones...what fun! After weeks of pain and waiting the decision was made to get the stone removed and get it over with, What the doctor said would be a pretty painless event turned out to be horribly painful. After removing the kidney stone they put a stent in place to help with any scar damage and they removed that yesturday another thing that was supposed to be relatively painless (WASN'T) Today is going pretty well though with getting back to normal a little bit. Oh and during all our excitement Taysen got pink eye and now has a cold. Tim has been a real trooper letting us come home and taking care of all our problems. Taysen can't stand it when daddy leaves the room and is snuggling up with him all the time. Anyway now that these events are hopefully winding down I will soon get up some new pictures from our recents adventures.

Taysen 1st Birthday

We had a wonderful Birthday party it truly started off with a bang. We were making homemade rootbeer and I must have put the lid on a little too much so the pressure started building and well next thing we know the lid blew off it sounded like a bomb, the lid hit the ceiling and rootbeer was everywhere. Holy cow! We had the party at Tim's parents house where we were happily living and now missing. It was a zoo themed party that was lots of fun. Hope you enjoy the pictures sorry there are so many but ya know a kids first birthday only comes once. Now to finish off the night Taysen ate his first cake and ice cream and as you can see it was all over him. We had to get him straight to the bath and not to let the day end without a bang he decided to poo in the tub to finish off the mess. Our little boy sure is growing up and turning into a little character.

Alright Sorry I haven't been up on the blogging. I have to admit it has been a little crazy getting back to school and all the moves that have come with it. We are now happily getting settled into a townhome that we are renting and loving it. It has an extra bedroom so come on down and visit (hint hint)So far only Tim's mom has taken us up on that one and it was a lot of fun. She has been such a big help to us and Taysen might be a little attached as well. He didn't even want her to go in the restroom while she was there. Tim is busy with golf and school and trying to make it all work with what will hopefully be his last year of school YEAH! We have pictures to post, but I'll have to relearn how to do that one. Eating Adventures

Taysen is quite the little boy. He curiously tries to take a taste of everything. A month ago I was in the bathroom getting ready while he played on the floor. Out of the corner of my eye I noticed a spider go by in the hall. Taysen turned and headed for it. How he saw it I don't know. He went crawling after this spider as fast as he could to catch it, but I thought there was no way he would catch up to it, but little did I know next time I look over he is putting something in his mouth. All I could think was he couldn't have, but sure enough I went to open his mouth to discover a slightly chewed spider in his mouth. Disgusting!! Just when I thought that it couldn't get worse...
We had a nice dinner of chinese for my dad's birthday and a yummy cold stone cake to follow. After that Tim decided to go play on the grass with Taysen while Dad visited on the phone with Amy's kids. I warned him to just make sure that Taysen didn't get by any dog poop. Sure enough a few minutes later Tim comes over carrying him "You'll never believe what your son just ate" as a green brown substance is dripping out of his mouth all over his shirt. Yep sure enough he had gotten a chunk of dog poo that was hidden down in the grass..DISGUSTING!!

Taysen 10 Months

These are Taysen at 10 months..He's growing up so fast. He now has conquered going up and down the stairs and makes sure he does it as often as he can. He loves to go up a few steps and turn around and wave and say "Ba,ba" (bye bye) He's a goof!

I had to include this picture because Taysen was trying to come eat a dandelion. In an attempt to take his pictures by myself I was trying everything to get him to smile. I tried blowing the seeds off an old dandelion, he thought it was great and he also thought it would be a great snack.

Tim's Birthday

Tim has turned the big 24. He has been wanting a scooter since he got home from his mission and although I was tempted to give him one this year the money just wasn't there so I made him a scooter cake instead. Close enough right? We had a great day and celebrated with a barbeque at Papa's house.
