Family Reunion

We had a fun filled weekend at the cabin a week ago. We had delicious food, fun games, movies, treats, and just time to spend with each other. The kids of course loved being outside. Thanks everyone for such a fun time!

Taysen's Birthday Party!

Taysen had his first birthday party with his friends this year. He turned 3! Here are a few pictures from his fun party. He keeps asking me when the lady will bring the bouncer back for him to play in. I think we ended up with around 17 kids so it was quite the party!

Summer Fun

After a long day of working on our house Tim decided to run through the sprinklers with Taysen. Unfortunately they picked the wrong time of day so it was really cold and didn't last too long. It was fun watching them and when they were done they got warmed up in the shower and Taysen insisted that he had to keep him swimming suit on. When the shower was done I pretty much had to pry it off of him because he was ready to go run through the sprinklers again...He's such a nut!

Catch up--Tim's Birthday

I know you will all be jealous of this sweet cake :) For Tim's birthday in June (yes I am way behind) Taysen decided that Tim wanted a pink triangle cake for his birthday. Since I had no idea what kind of cake to make and Tim didn't care I decided to go with Taysen's crazy idea because he was just sure that was what Tim wanted. Here is the result. It turned out pretty fun.

Still Alive

We're still here just really bad at posting on the blog. Lately we just been pushing hard to try to get our house finished up with all the updating. So close yet so far away! We also celebrated Taysen's 3rd birthday. I can't believe my little boy is already 3 the time sure has flown by. We had a fun birthday party for him with friends and then one with family. I'll try to get pictures up soon. Korver is getting bigger and bigger and getting all over the place..we are in the process of moving him into his crib which is probably a little overdue...Thats what we're up to and we'll try to get pictures sometime soon...

Summer Fun

We have been preparing my parents yard for my sisters open house (which turned out great) and since we were spending so much time outside and Taysen seemed to end up soaked from head to foot everyday I decided it was time to get him a new pool so he actually had a reason to be soaking wet. He absolutely loves the water and had a blast. I had to pry him out of his wet swim suit to finally get him changed, he would have stayed swimming all night.

 

 

 

 

Korver 3 months

I know I am slow since Korver is now 4 months old..but i still wanted to post some of his 3 month pictures he's so much fun. He is overall a pretty happy little guy.

 

 

 

 

Stroller

A while ago I finally got my new double stroller so that I could take both the kids on walks...We LOVE it!!! It can be a jogging stroller or it can go on the bike to pull the kids...Korver is still a little small to be in it, but we just have to prop him up for the ride. These pictures are from one of our first walks as a family. We got back just at dark and Korver was asleep. Both the boys looked so cute I had to take a picture.

 

 

 

Marshmallow Boy

Yesturday while I was making lunch Taysen ran in dressed like this. I asked him what he was and he said he was a Marshmallow. He comes up with the craziest ideas.

 

 

Rockin

I was very excited to finally get Rock Band 2 the other day and Taysen was pretty excited himself. He got so excited as each instrument came out. I told him we could play after I finished getting ready. Well he decided that he would start early I peeked out from getting ready to see him with taking on every instrument I didn't get him with the microphone, but he did have it as well. Now he thinks he can play them all everytime, so we're not playing this one much while he is awake.

 

 

 

Egg Hunt

On Easter Taysen got a basket from the Easter Bunny and then we were off to church, but what do you know when we got home there were eggs hidden in our backyard. Taysen really had fun finding them and was certain there must be more out there. It was fun to have him so excited.

Dying Easter Eggs

This year we had a fun time dying Easter eggs at my parents house. My mom was out of town so the boys and I spent the day hanging out with my dad. It was lots of fun and Taysen really liked dying all the eggs!

 

 

 

 

Egg Hunt

This Easter I took Taysen to an Egg hunt at the Naples Park. There were tons of people there. He loved finding the candy, but it took him a minute to get going so he didn't get much. His cousin Eastyn went as well. After that hunt we went to one at the dinosaur museum. I don't have many pictures because Megan was taking them for us and so I need to get them.
